Is it possible to get credit for buying the cars?
- Yes, it is. We provide a quick crediting process and advantageous conditions. Call us for details.
Do you take on special orders as well?
- Absolutely. When taking orders we do it in a most accurate manner, trying to find out all details we need to know for making even the wildest dreams come true. Also,we take special care for making the following details absolutely clear for the customer: price, all add-on cost, physical condition of the car, schedule and price of transportation, delivery and making the car usable in traffic if required. The best thing to do for getting an idea about the physical condition and quality of our cars is to have a look at our referencies here or those in real life, at our estate. So far we have managed to satisfy the needs of all our customers, and we are relentlessly aiming to do so.
Is it possible to take the car away for restoration and then return with it for taking an old timer exam?
- Yes, of course. Although we have our proficient experts with many years of experience in their own fields, the customer may decide on his/her own experts when it comes to restauration. In this case the total price must be paid by the customer before taking the car away. If the restorated car is qualified as authentic and perfectly well-renovated by our experts, we take on the responsibility of getting it over with the whole old timer examination process.
What is the process of putting old timers in traffic?
High level process:
1. The car has to pass an old timer exam where it is declared by the assessing board to be authentic and in a high quality of mechanical and aesthetic condition.
2. Having passed the old timer exam, the car has to be taken to an ordinary technical exam as well. However, by meeting their own time's technical requirements, old timers are dispensed from meeting those of today. Obviously the safeguard must work perfectly well. It is not only a possibility but a must to leave the original American lamps (e.g red rare indicators) unchanged in order to meet all the authenticity requirements.
3. After a
successful technical exam the only thing to do is to obtain the OT license
plate and the registration book.
Although this whole process seems to be very simple, but this is not so at all.
There are a number of bottlenecks when taking these severe exams, which only
the most authentic and immaculate cars are able to take successfully. Of course
we would be more than happy to get the whole thing done to you.
Are customs paid already?
- Yes, this amount is our cost and is included int he total price of the car. Currently old timers are free of registration fee.
- In the USA they are transported on a trailer to the port. Then they are shipped to a European port (either in the Netherlands or in Germany) from where they are transported on a trailer again, right to our location.
Where do these cars come from?
- They come from the USA, from various counties and towns, and nearly all of them are from private sellers.
